Shoe Tracker compares running-shoe prices across retailers. Using the site means accepting what is below. It is free, it is run by one person, and it comes with no promises about the prices it shows.

What this site is

We collect publicly listed prices and stock from retailers' own websites and put them side by side. We do not sell shoes. Every purchase is a transaction between you and that retailer, on their site, under their terms and their returns policy. We are not a party to it and cannot help with an order, a refund, or a delivery.

Prices are a snapshot, not a quote

We also get things wrong in the ordinary way software does: a shoe matched to the wrong model, a size read incorrectly, a store missed entirely. We fix what we find, but the site is offered as-is, with no warranty of accuracy, availability or fitness for any purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here is advice about what to buy.

Affiliate and partner links

Links out to retailers may in future earn the project a commission, and we record which offers get clicked so a retailer can see the traffic we send them. This never changes the ranking: the cheapest offer we know of is shown first, whether or not it pays us anything. If a paid arrangement ever exists, it will be disclosed on this page.

Your account

You do not need an account to browse. If you make one, keep your email account secure — anyone who can read your inbox can sign in as you, because a sign-in link is all it takes. Use the site for its purpose: no scraping or bulk-downloading our pages, no attempt to break, overload or probe the service, and nothing illegal. We can suspend or delete an account that does those things, and you can delete yours at any time by asking.

Our content, and theirs

The design, code and text of this site are ours. Product names, brands, and the product photographs shown on listing pages belong to their respective owners — brands and retailers — and appear here to identify the products being compared. If you own such material and would rather it were not shown, write to us and we will remove it.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this site — including a price that turned out to be wrong, a deal that had ended, or the site being unavailable. Some rights cannot be excluded by law, and nothing here tries to exclude them.

Changes and ending

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version. The site is a side project and may change or shut down at any time.
